Graphic design and visual creation have been part of my interests for many years, especially within cultural contexts. Over time, I have developed work for cultural and museum institutions, including product design, posters, flyers, social media content, exhibition graphics and a range of materials aimed at cultural dissemination, as well as other spaces such as museum shops.

2024 Calendar - Chryselephantine Collection, Casa Lis Museum
The Art Déco and Art Nouveau Museum - Casa Lis publishes a calendar every year which, over time, has become a true collector’s item for many of the museum’s visitors and followers.
Traditionally, these calendars had focused on 1920s fashion sketches and followed a very specific visual style that had been maintained for years. On this occasion, we decided to break with that tradition and introduce one of the museum’s most representative collections: the so-called chryselephantine sculptures. These are beautiful decorative sculptures, mainly made of bronze and ivory, characteristic of the Art Déco period.
The main challenge of the project was to preserve the recognisable essence of previous calendars while introducing a new theme and a visual identity more closely connected to the museum itself. The inspiration came directly from the Modernist architecture of Casa Lis, particularly its stained-glass windows and the rich colour palette that characterises the building.
The photographs of the sculptures were combined with backgrounds created using hand-painted watercolours, which were later digitally edited to build the final composition. In addition, the titles for each month were created manually through lettering designed specifically for this edition.
The calendar was designed for La Tienda de Lis and became one of the best-selling editions in the entire collection.
International Women’s Day Poster - Casa Lis Museum, 2023
This design was created for International Women’s Day, 8 March, for the social media channels of the Art Déco and Art Nouveau Museum - Casa Lis in 2023.
The main image used for the poster features one of the chryselephantine sculptures preserved in the museum’s collection, by the renowned artist Demetre Chiparus. It was selected in connection with the theme of the temporary exhibition The Daughters of Jazz. Initially, the design was conceived solely as a digital post for social media. However, the silhouette created from the figure was later reused as the graphic image for several activities organised around International Museum Day, appearing on tickets, promotional materials and various digital supports linked to these events.
In addition, the choice of a chryselephantine sculpture as the central element of the design also served as a small visual preview of the aesthetic direction that would later inspire the museum’s calendar for the following year.
The Surroundings of My Life (Vera Callejo) - Madrid Railway Museum
On the occasion of the temporary exhibition The Surroundings of My Life by watercolour artist Vera Callejo, held at the Madrid Railway Museum from 27 September to 9 December 2024, a range of graphic and audiovisual materials were created.
The exhibition, focused on different spaces and scenes related to the railway environment and the Delicias neighbourhood, brought together watercolours inspired both by the artist’s personal history and by her close connection with this setting. For this exhibition, I developed several designs for the exhibition space and its digital communication, including the poster, leaflets, opening invitations, tickets, banners, social media materials and exhibition labels.
I also created the audiovisual piece projected within the exhibition, taking responsibility for the creative concept, visual approach, script, montage and video editing. Similar audiovisual pieces were also developed for other exhibitions at the museum, serving as visual support both within the exhibition space and across digital media and social networks.
As part of my work at the museum, I also designed some of the signage and informational graphics used throughout the building, including materials related to access, visitor guidelines, shared spaces and wayfinding elements for the public.
Damage Mapping and Conservation Reports
The work of a cultural heritage conservator-restorer includes the preparation of reports that gather all relevant information about the object or artwork being treated, its historical and cultural context, its state of conservation and the different processes carried out during the intervention.
These reports include a detailed analysis of the object’s previous condition, as well as intervention proposals, treatments undertaken and preventive conservation measures recommended for its future preservation.
One of the elements commonly included in this documentation is damage mapping: graphic representations in which the different alterations and pathologies present in an artwork are identified and classified through visual codes.
These resources make it possible to clearly and accurately locate all forms of deterioration that may be present in the artwork.
